Harvey joined the Mariners this summer on a season-long loan deal from Hull City and has been handed the number one shirt for the campaign.

Grimsby-born, the 21-year-old came through the youth ranks at Cheapside before making the switch to Hull City in 2015. Since then, he has featured for the England age-group teams at under-18 and under-20s level and taken in loan spells with Barton Town and Gainsborough Trinity, as well as temporary moves to Peterborough United and Wycome Wanderers last season.

Cartwright signed a new four-year contract with Hull City in May 2022. Upon signing for the Mariners earlier this summer, he said “I’m really happy to be here. It’s an area I know very well and I’ve been a massive fan of the club since I was a kid. This is something I’ve dreamed of from when I was a young fan.”
