23-year-old Danny joined the Mariners during our National League promotion campaign and, after helping our promotion cause that season, signed a one-year deal for Town’s EFL return. After an option was taken in his contract to extend that deal, will continue alongside Anthony Glennon as the primary left-backs in Paul Hurst’s squad.

Sheffield-born, Amos came through at Doncaster Rovers and made fourteen league appearances for them before departing in summer 2021.

That was when he signed a short-term contract with Port Vale after impressing in a trial but he was unable to force his way into league action with three EFL Trophy appearances being his only match action with them.

He signed for the Mariners in January 2022 with the intention of providing competition for Adam Crookes on the left-hand side of defence. He played the full ninety minutes in our Play-Off final victory and made 52 appearances in all competitions for Town to date.
