Brief info

The 18-year-old Ex-West Ham academy player, put pen to paper on his first professional contract after a two-year scholarship with the club, signing a one-year deal.

Khouri was a surprise inclusion in the first-team squad at the start of the 2020/21 campaign, making his debut in our EFL Cup first-round tie vs. Morecambe as a substitute, before making a further substitute appearance in our EFL Trophy fixture vs. Harrogate Town.

The 18-year-old was handed his full first-team debut, as well as his first league appearance against Bolton Wanders by Paul Hurst and Khouri, produce a fine display on the left of Town’s midfield and looked every bit a senior player against this title-chasing opponents.

Given his impressive league debut, Khouri went onto start the remaining six league matches of the 2020/21 season, earning himself a place in the SkyBet League Two midweek Team of the Week in the process.

Khouri is primarily a central midfielder, although is fairly versatile and is able to play out wide or full-back or in a slightly more advanced role.

He has been described as having an outstanding attitude on and off the pitch and being tactically astute off the ball as well as on it, as well as adept with both feet.
