Edwin is another product of the academy system. An athletic centre forward who has bags of pace.

Essel was a pupil at Tollbar school and joined the system as an U10. It's excellent to have Ed on board, a great character who is a real threat at the top end of the pitch.

He also played his part in the Mariners’ run to the Quarter-Finals of the Emirates FA Cup last season, coming off the bench in our Fourth Round replay victory over Luton Town at Blundell Park.
