After impressing on loan at Gateshead in the National League last season, highly-rated Kamil signed for the Mariners this summer on a three-year deal after the clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.

He spent time in the Crystal Palace youth setup before a season with Lambeth Tigers came ahead of a switch to Watford. He signed his first professional deal with the Hornets in July 2021 and made his first team debut in January 2022 when he featured for sixteen minutes during a 4-1 defeat to Leicester City in the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup.

A loan spell with Braintree Town followed shortly after before, in the summer of 2022, he earned a move to Middlesbrough after a successful trial period.

Despite being highly-rated and with some supporters expecting him to get a chance with the Championship club this season, he makes the move to Blundell Park after impressing in the National League with the intention of making the step up to League Two.

He is also an international after making his Sierra Leone debut in March 2022.
