Young Reserves Side Face Rotherham United At Cheapside This Afternoon

Grimsby Town reserves return to Central League action this afternoon as they welcome Rotherham United to Cheapside (2pm).

The Mariners have lost their previous two reserves games 2-1 – an away defeat to Morecambe last week, and a home loss to Mansfield Town earlier in the month.

And Town will be looking to get their first Central League win of the season this afternoon, having failed to win in their first nine games so far this campaign.

The Millers are currently second-place in the Central League, having won six of their opening 10 matches.

Town: Trialist GK, Jamieson, Pollock, Grayson, Saunders, Wright, Richardson, Curran, Starbuck, Vernam, Rose.

Subs: Powles, Burrell, McPherson, Poynter, Painter.

Admission to the game at Cheapside is free this afternoon.
