If you’re heading to the Bescot Stadium to back the Mariners, here’s everything you need to know ahead of the trip.

Grimsby Town have been allocated 1,360 seated away tickets.

Tickets are available to purchase on the day, with card/contactless payment only.

How do I get to the ground?

The postcode for the Bescot Stadium is WS1 4SA.

From the M6, leave at Junction 9 and take the A461 towards Walsall. Take the A4148 Wallowes Lane and then turn right at the second set of traffic lights. The stadium will be on your left.

What stand are we in?

Away supporters will be located in both the B.A.T Stand, a covered stand behind the goal, and the Experienced Energy Solutions Stand, a covered stand along the side of the pitch.

Please check your ticket before attempting to enter the stadium, as this will tell you which stand and turnstile you need. This will help avoid unnecessary queuing before being directed elsewhere.

When do turnstiles open?

Turnstiles open at 11am.

  • Experienced Energy Solutions Stand: Turnstiles 1-2
  • B.A.T Stand: Turnstiles 27-28

Where is the best place to park?

Parking is available at the stadium for £9 per car and £13 per minibus. Payment for parking is card only.

There is an away-fan-only car park available.

Fans can pre-book parking in advance via Walsall FC’s ticketing website.

Parking is also available at Bescot Stadium Railway Station, which is situated behind the B.A.T Stand.

Is there any disabled parking?

All disabled parking spaces at the stadium are reserved for season ticket holders.

On arrival, disabled supporters should speak to a steward, who will do their best to find a suitable space. Any additional spaces are operated on a first come, first served basis.

What is the nearest train station?

The nearest station is Bescot Stadium Railway Station, which is located just a two-minute walk from the stadium.

Services run to the station from Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton.

Recommended pubs for away fans

Walsall have a dedicated fanzone at the stadium, The Locker, which serves both food and alcohol before the game.

Entry costs £2 for supporters aged over 12, with The Locker open from 5.30pm.

The Park Inn Hotel is also available for supporters.

Is there food available nearby?

The stadium is situated next to a retail park, which includes a McDonald’s.

Alternatively, the Saddlers Shopping Centre in Walsall has a variety of food outlets. It is approximately 10 minutes away by car at WS2 9NW, although it is also a fair walk from the stadium.

A free-to-use cash machine is available at the nearby retail park.

What food and drink is available inside the stadium?

Alcohol is available in both away stands.

The stadium is cashless, with card and contactless payments accepted inside.

Please note that printed programmes are available for £4, but programme sales are cash only.

Please note that no drums are permitted inside the stadium.
