We can confirm that defender Edon Pruti underwent surgery on Monday following a double leg break he sustained during Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Northampton Town.
The operation was successful, with a metal rod fitted inside his leg to stabilise the fracture. Edon was discharged from hospital on Monday afternoon and will now begin a lengthy period of recovery and rehabilitation.
