Our award-winning match-day programme, The Mariner returns this evening for the visit of King’s Lynn Town for a 7:45pm kick-off.
In this week’s edition, Michee Efete is under the spotlight, as the right-back capped his return to the team last week by scoring what turned out to be the winning goal against his former employers and looks to recapture our early season form.
Grimbarians return with their ‘One of their Own’, this week featuring Radio Humberside’s John Tondeur. Widely regarded as ‘The Voice of the Mariners’. John has been commentating on games for almost 40 years, with his first broadcast coming in the 1983-84 season and has been on the airwaves on Saturday’s and Tuesday’s ever since!
Our regular Junior Mariners feature also returns with plenty of activities and features for our younger Mariners fans. We also see the return of our quick-fire question and answer feature with January recruit, Scott Burgess who is up against the clock. We also have an update from the Mariners Trust, who recently ran a competition for their junior members to design the club’s Third kit for the 2022/23 campaign and you can see the winning selections.
Our Legends feature continues to provide this week, with Sam Lenthall putting forward the case for the former Premier League star, Kingsley Black who spent five years at Blundell Park. Club historian Rob Briggs continues his serialisation of the story of the Mariners’ origins.
