It has been determined that all EFL fixtures from 9-10 September will be postponed as a mark of respect by the National Sport to the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
This is aligned with the approach that the Premier League and the FA have taken with their competitions this weekend, with fixtures set to recommence on Tuesday 13th September, with our home fixture vs. Gillingham. In addition, this means that the Premier League Trophy’s visit to Blundell Park will also be postponed.
Further information, in respect of how football, Clubs and their supporters will be encouraged to commemorate Her Majesty’s reign will be confirmed in due course.
Tickets for Saturday’s fixture will be eligible for the rearranged date once confirmed. Those who wish to redeem a refund will be able to do so from 10:00 on Monday 12th September by bringing their tickets into the GTFC ticket office or by calling 01472 605050.
As a mark of respect, all Grimsby Town social media channels will remain silent until Monday 12th September. The club shop and ticket office will also be closed over the weekend.
We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.
