Grimsby Town Football Club can confirm that Harry Cardwell and Ollie Battersby have sealed month-long loans at Chorley and Mickleover Sports respectively.
Striker Cardwell, who joined the Mariners in 2017, has found first-team football hard to come by this season and has made just two Sky Bet League Two appearances in 2019-20.
The 23-year-old, who scored against Scunthorpe United in the EFL Trophy, will be looking to get some goals for the National League side – as fellow Town forward Charles Vernam did back in November.
Goalkeeper Battersby, who signed a two-and-a-half-year professional contract with Town in December 2018, had a short loan spell at Lincoln United earlier this term.
And the 18-year-old will now be hoping to get some game-time under his belt for Mickleover Sports in the Northern Premier League.
We would like to wish Harry and Ollie the best of luck for their short-term loan spells!
