Grimsby Town Sports and Education Trust are delighted to announce that Max Wright has been awarded their PFA Community Player of the Year for the 2019/20 season.
Chief Executive of Grimsby Town Sports & Education Trust, Graham Rodger spoke to gtfc.co.uk regarding the midfielder’s award. “Max has made countless appearances throughout the year at events, projects and initiatives in and around the local community”, said Rodger. “I believe Max is a worthy winner of this year’s trophy”.
We also caught up with Max who discussed his award. “It’s an honour to be nominated and chosen as the Community Player of the Year by the Grimsby Town Sports & Education Trust”, said Wright.
“Coming through the club’s academy system and as a local lad, it’s always important to do everything I can to give back to the community that have and continue to support me and the club”.
