A huge thank you from Grimsby Town Football Club, The Mariners Trust & Grimsby Town Sports & Education Trust!
Our supporters have done a fantastic job this season through adversity, not only have they bought into the season ticket changes and iFollow, they have been incredibly generous, helping us with our collections for local charities such as St Andrew’s Hospice and the Rock Foundation, raising a whopping £806.08 for each Charity, all through the sale of our GTFC face coverings.
We are also pleased to announce that our Charity collections have also done extremely well, with a huge response with the donation of toys which are being donated to the children’s ward at St Andrew’s Hospice, the children’s ward at the Princess of Wales Hospital and The Women’s Refuge.
The Rock Foundation are supplying food parcels for those who need a little extra help to feed their families at this time and are always grateful for any contributions no matter how small. Once again, our supporters have stepped up to give a little extra this Christmas.
Not wanting to leave out our four-legged friends, we also ran collections to help support the Ark who run solely on donations and once again, our fantastic supporters were there to assist.
Another charity which is close to our hearts is the Alzheimer’s Society, and with so many sportsmen and women being affected we wanted to help. To help raise funds for this fantastic cause, we have been selling Matt Tees books within the GTFC club shop to assist.
To all of those supporters who took the time to help support their local community, we at Grimsby Town Football Club and all of the above Charities would like to thank them all and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas
Up The Mariners!
