Another long away trip beckons tomorrow with the Mariners travelling to Cumbria to take on Carlisle United at Brunton Park. As usual, Kristine Green’s Away Day Travel Guide has all the information for supporters making the trip.

What’s the ticket information?
Tickets are available on the day and can be purchased either by cash or card from the away ticket office at the back of the Pioneer Stand, next to away supporter turnstiles. Prices increase on the day by £3 excluding juniors, under-11s and under-7s.
The prices are as follows:
Adult – £24
Over 65 – £21
Young Person (18-22) – £18
Junior (under-18) – £12
Under 14 – £12
Family Junior (11-17 and with adult ticket purchase) – £10
Under 11 – £9
What stand are we in?
We’re located in the Pioneer Stand which is a covered side stand.
How do I get to the ground?
The postcode for the ground is CA1 1LL
Take junction 43 off the M6 and take the first exit at the roundabout. You can see the roof of a stand almost immediately so stay on the A69, passing through three sets of traffic lights. The ground is on the right.
Where is the best place to park?
Parking is available at the ground costing £3. Cars are held post-game for a short time while supporters clear the area.
There is some local street parking but please watch out for any restrictions and yellow lines.
Parking information for disabled fans travelling?
Parking for blue badge holders is free and located at the away end of the stadium. Spaces are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
What time do turnstiles open?
Turnstiles open 90 minutes before kick-off.
What is the nearest train station to the stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?
Carlisle Station is the nearest to the ground and around a 20-minute walk away.
Cross the road outside of the station – there’s a Nando’s adjacent to the first set of traffic lights. Walk down Warwick Road for around a mile and you’ll reach the ground. There is also a taxi rank if you don’t fancy the 20-minute walk.

The is also The Clubhouse at Stoneyholme, which is a shortcut through from the away end – supporters may need to book this.
Food available in the area?
The west side of the stadium has a chippie van and burger outlet as well as a bar.
The Clubhouse at Stonyholme Golf Course serves food.
There are plenty of other local and national outlets located on Warwick Road.
Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?
There is a cash machine on the corner near the ground, next to a shop. This may charge for withdrawal – there are plenty in the town centre which is a 20-minute away.
What food and drink is available on the concourse at the stadium?
Inside the ground is cashless so card or contactless only.
Alcohol is served in the away end – sales will end 15 minutes into the second half.
What is the process for flags?
Flags are fine to be put up but can’t block stairwells or cover advertising boards.
Is a programme available?
A printed programme is available costing £3.
