A familiar look returns to The Mariner this season, as retro covers will return for the 2021/22 campaign to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1971-72 title winning campaign!
In Saturday’s edition, we have notes from both manager Paul Hurst and new Chief Executive Officer, Debbie Cook, followed by an article written by Chair, Jason Stockwood.
We catch up with Matt Newton following an incredibly successful Broadley Legends Game at Blundell Park with photos from Lee Blease. Returning Mariner, Shaun Pearson is Saturday’s centre-fold poster accompanied with an interview with the defender, combined with former GTFC skipper, Craig Disley picking his Town XI from his period at the club.
We have also revamped our Junior Mariners area, with extended content to keep the young Mariners in your life excited. We also are delighted to announce a new collaboration with Grimbarians, with Kristine Green our first featured in ‘One of our Own’.
In addition to our look at our first opponents of the season Weymouth, Michael Hubbert writes about Alec ‘Ginger’ Hall in our new ‘Legends’ series, featuring a new piece by artist Jim Connor.
All this fantastic content can be picked up for just £3 around the ground, as well as inside the GTFC club shop and ticket office. You can also purchase yours online by clicking here for collection on the day or to be delivered to your door!
