‘All Town Aren’t We’ Documentary Series Announced

Grimsby Town Football Club is delighted to announce that a documentary series about the 2021-22 promotion-winning campaign has been made and is now with Propagate Content ready for global distribution.

Over the last 12 months, the Club has been working with Jack Spring, the man behind ‘Three Day Millionaire’, and Shush Films, to create a three-part documentary series that tells the story of our takeover in 2021, our season in the National League and the heroic play-off run.

The play-off campaign was two weeks that no Town fan will ever forget. The cameras captured every second of this footballing fairy tale and now the three-part documentary series entitled ‘All Town Aren’t We’ is coming.

On the documentary, Mariners CEO Debbie Cook said: “The 2021-22 season will go down as one of the most memorable to be a Grimsby Town supporter and Jack’s documentary series tells the story brilliantly.

“The way those three play-off games played out, probably won’t ever been repeated and it was an honour and a privilege to be CEO of the Club during that amazing time.

“The documentary also tells a wider story about the Club and the journey it has been on since Jason Stockwood and Andrew Pettit took over in 2021. It’s great to see so many well-known faces talk so passionately about a Club which is the heartbeat of the community.

“The way we won promotion in 2021-22 got the whole nation talking about Grimsby Town and I’m sure Jack’s documentary series will do the same again.”

The director of ‘All Town Aren’t We’, Jack Spring, said: “It has been a brilliant journey documenting what I believe to be the singular best sporting story of the last decade.

“Not many film makers have the story, access and personalities that I’ve been fortunate to have at my disposal on the project and I’m very excited to be working with such an amazing team at Propagate as we move forward with distribution.”

The documentary is finished and Propagate Content, a globally-known film and TV producer and distributor, are now responsible for selling the production to streaming services and TV channels as official distributor.

Football fans everywhere are likely to enjoy the documentary and, who knows, maybe some new Mariners fans will emerge after it airs!
