Donovan made the switch to Blundell Park in the summer of 2023, after spending the previous two-and-a-half seasons with fellow Sky Bet League Two side Sutton United.

He joined the Londoners in March 2021 and scored seven goals in sixteen league appearances to help them to promotion. Across the subsequent two campaigns, he was a regular presence in their line-up before departing at the end of his contract.

Wilson initially came through at Bristol Rovers before making a loan switch to Wolves that would then become a permanent move. While at Molineux, he took in temporary moves to the likes of Port Vale and Exeter City, either side of a stint in Spain with Jumilla.

After his loan deal with Exeter ended, his next stop was Burgos in Spain for the 2019-20 season, one that was curtailed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

His return to England saw him sign for Macclesfield Town before a spell with Bath City that saw him score six goals in nine league matches. That form earned the move to Sutton United and after two-and-a-half years at Gander Green Lane, he joined the Mariners.
