We are looking forward to welcoming Kevin Drinkell back to Blundell Park this Saturday for our game against Doncaster Rovers.
Grimsby born Drinkell made over 270 appearances for the Mariners in a spell lasting eight years between 1976 and 1984 scoring 89 goals. At his time with Town he picked up a Fourth Division runners up medal, a Third Division title in 1980 as well as receiving the Supporter’s Young Player Of The Year in 1977 and then the Grimsby Town Supporter’s Player of the Year in 1983. Kevin went on to sign for then Second Division side Norwich City as well as playing for the likes of Rangers, Coventry, Birmingham, Falkirk and Stirling Albion before hanging up his boots in 1995.
The former forward will be in McMenemy’s before Saturday’s game alongside our matchday host Dave Smith where he will discuss some of his favourite memories in a Town shirt as well as taking part in a Q&A. Opportunities to meet and greet Drinkell will also be available to hospitality guests.
We have a limited number of bronze hospitality packages left for this weekend, if you would like to purchase one of these packages then you can by clicking here. Alternatively, you could email [email protected] or call 01472 605050 if you’d like to discuss your options or customise your package.
