Our Young Mariners were back to winning ways as they overcame Harrogate Town 4-2 on home soil on Saturday.
Eliot Smith opened the scoring for Town in the first-half following a diagonal cross from Alex Graham, allowing the forward to take a touch and fire home to give the home side the early advantage.
Smith doubled the lead and got his brace when he sent an outstanding free-kick into the top corner to see Neil Woods’ side go into the break with a two-goal lead.
Harrogate scored within a minute of the restart, but it was Smith who completed his hat-trick after some great team build-up play.
The Railwaymen got a second, but Town got a fourth when substitute Sharp raced clear and beat the keeper to round off an impressive victory.
Next up for our young Mariners is a trip to Hartlepool on Saturday 15th March (12pm KO)
