Grimsby Town Women’s First Team are pleased to announce the signing of talented youngster Mia Westerman.

Mia has recently been part of the first ever girls’ scholarship team with Grimsby Town Foundation and Franklin College and has also played in the youth set-up at Cleethorpes Town.

Mia came through the Emerging Talent Centre at Grimsby Town Foundation, where she impressed.

On bringing in Mia ahead of the new season, Head Coach Ben Thomas said, “Mia is a wide player, capable of isolating defenders 1v1 while making dangerous runs in behind.

“I’m really looking forward to working with Mia this season and seeing her develop and contributing to the team’s success.”

Mia will be sponsored by Lorraine Stiff and Tracey Playford for the 2025-26 season.
