We’re thrilled to welcome back former Mariner Dave Worthington for a special signing of his new autobiography, ‘Worthy’ and Q&A in McMenemy’s on Saturday ahead of the Cheltenham Town game.

In his book, Dave reflects on his incredible journey from his playing days – from making 293 appearances in the league for GTFC, to a 20-year career as a Premier League scout, working with clubs like Bolton, Chelsea, and Everton. The book offers a behind the scenes look at football, sharing stories of discovering rising stars, working alongside top managers, and the experiences that shaped his life in the game.

Head down to the Club Shop at Blundell Park between 12pm – 1pm if you’d like to meet the former Mariners skipper and get a copy of ‘Worthy’ signed.

Worthington will also be in McMenemy’s on Saturday afternoon and will take part in a Q&A with matchday presenter Scott Woodthorpe.
