Information for fans travelling to Hayes Lane tomorrow

Grimsby Town are back on the road tomorrow as the Mariners make the trip to face Bromley in a 12:30pm kick-off, and we look forward to welcoming another strong travelling support in South East London.

Below is all the key information for supporters making the journey.

Kit Colours

The Mariners will be wearing our blue and red away kit for this fixture.

Ticket Information

This match is a complete sell-out, with no further tickets available. Supporters without a valid match ticket are advised not to travel.

Please note that there have been development works at the stadium since our last visit, so supporters should expect some noticeable changes on arrival.

Stadium Access & Seating

Both standing and seated away supporters should enter via Entrance 4.

  • Standing tickets: East Terrace
  • Seated tickets: North Stand

Stewards will be on hand to direct supporters on arrival. Turnstiles are due to open at 11am.

Getting To Hayes Lane

By Car

Supporters driving are advised to plan their journey in advance and allow extra time due to limited parking around the stadium.

  • Leave the M25 at Junction 4 and take the A21 towards Bromley and London
  • After approximately five miles, turn left at the traffic lights onto the A232 towards Croydon/Sutton
  • At the second set of traffic lights, turn right into Baston Road (B265)
  • Continue straight through Hayes as the road becomes Hayes Lane
  • After the mini roundabout, the stadium entrance is on the right-hand side

Parking

Parking near the ground is very limited, with new restrictions in place. Supporters are urged to check signage carefully, as Blue Badges do not override local parking restrictions.

Limited parking is available at the ground

The Glades Shopping Centre offers parking, approximately a 25-minute walk from the stadium

Disabled parking is sold out. Supporters are advised to use street parking where available, being mindful of local restrictions.

By Train

Bromley South Railway Station, served by trains from London Victoria, is the closest station. The ground is around one mile away, approximately a 15-20 minute walk.

Pubs For Away Supporters

The bar inside the stadium is home supporters only.

With the early kick-off, pre-match pub visits are likely to be limited. The Bricklayers Arms (BR9 9HW) on Masons Hill is the closest pub to the ground but does not open until 12:00pm, making it more suitable for after the match.

Food outlets near the ground are limited pre-match, but after the game supporters will find options including Domino’s on Masons Hill, a Toby Carvery on Bromley Common, and further outlets along Bromley High Street.

Food & Drink Inside The Stadium

Due to ongoing changes at Hayes Lane, facilities remain a work in progress. Hot and cold food will be available for away supporters, however no alcohol is currently served in the away areas.

Cash Machines

The nearest cashpoint is located at the Southern Co-Operative on Homesdale Road, approximately half a mile from the stadium.

Matchday Programme

There will be no traditional matchday programme. Instead, a monthly magazine is available to purchase, priced at £5.00.

Flags & Banners

Flags are permitted but must not be placed in front of advertising boards or cause an obstruction.

Mariners Respects

We’re proud of the fantastic support we receive, home and away.

We also recognise that most supporters come to enjoy the match in a welcoming environment. Abusive or indecent language, as well as any discriminatory or threatening behaviour – including racist, homophobic, sexist, sectarian, xenophobic or anti-disability shouting, chanting or actions – has no place at our games.

The Club may issue bans, including indefinite bans, to anyone found to have engaged in discriminatory language or violent behaviour.

We thank supporters for their continued backing and wish everyone a safe journey to Bromley.
