The closing stages brought further drama when Lewis Cass was shown a red card deep into stoppage time, but by that point Town had already secured a deserved win on the road.

A goal in each half condemned the Mariners to defeat in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
Town handed a debut to goalkeeper Jackson Smith, who joined from Barnsley on a seven-day emergency loan, but the hosts struck early when Will Hondermarck finished from close range after Bromley recycled possession inside the penalty area.
The Mariners remained in the contest and created several promising moments before the break, although Bromley doubled their advantage shortly after half-time when Marcus Ifill’s low cross was turned in by Hondermarck for his second of the afternoon.

The Mariners celebrated the 125th anniversary of Blundell Park with a hard-earned victory.
After a lively opening period in which Town created several chances, the sides went into the interval level.
The decisive moment arrived six minutes after the restart when Kieran Green was brought down inside the penalty area. Danny Rose stepped up and confidently converted from the spot to give the Mariners the lead.
Bromley pushed forward in search of an equaliser and the task became tougher for Town when Green was sent off late on, but the hosts held firm to secure a memorable anniversary win.

Promotion-chasing Town showed their resilience by coming from behind to secure an important away victory.
The hosts made a fast start and took the lead inside six minutes through Sean Francis.
But the Mariners responded well and were back on level terms midway through the first half when Jon Nolan found the net.
The contest remained finely balanced until the closing stages before substitute Jon-Paul Pittman struck in the 84th minute to complete the turnaround and secure all three points for Paul Hurst’s side.

Town had dominated the early stages and deservedly took the lead when Jordan Maguire-Drew finished a flowing attacking move midway through the first half.
Bromley worked their way back into the game before the interval and equalised through striker George Alexander.
The second half ebbed and flowed before the decisive moment arrived with seven minutes remaining, when Jude Arthurs headed home from a corner to give the visitors the points.
