The Club takes a zero-tolerance approach to racism and discrimination and will take firm and decisive action against any individual found to have engaged in such conduct. Blundell Park must remain a place where everyone feels welcome, safe and respected.
Grimsby Town Football Club stands together with the whole of football in opposing racism and all forms of discrimination. We want Blundell Park to be a place where everyone belongs, regardless of their race or ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.
The Club is committed to removing and eliminating any direct or indirect discrimination of any form within Grimsby Town structures and will under no circumstances condone unlawful discriminatory practices. The organisation takes a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination, harassment, victimisation and bullying.
Any supporter found responsible for racist or discriminatory behaviour will face strict sanctions, including stadium bans, and incidents may also be referred to the relevant authorities and football governing bodies.
How To Report An Incident
We are committed to tackling incidents relating to discrimination or inappropriate behaviour in order to reduce the occurrence of such incidents.
If you encounter a hate crime – any incident that the victim or anyone else believes was motivated by hostility or prejudice based on personal characteristics such as race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability – please report it as soon as possible.
Supporters can report incidents by:
- Completing the Club’s online reporting form
- Emailing slo@gtfc.co.uk
If you are attending a home match at Blundell Park and witness or experience a hate incident, you can report it immediately by texting 07926 575610, which will contact our Matchday Safeguarding Officer, Vikki Harries.
Supporters can also report discrimination through Kick It Out, which provides a reporting app that allows fans to attach video, photo and audio evidence to help support investigations into discriminatory abuse and behaviour. The app is available to download via the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Please note that reported acts of misconduct by the Club’s supporters are also highly likely to lead to formal disciplinary action by the FA.
We ask all supporters to play their part in ensuring Blundell Park remains a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
