New sponsorship deal sees myenergi continue long-standing relationship with the Mariners

Grimsby Town Football Club is excited to announce that myenergi will become the club’s Official Technical Training Kit Sponsor for the 2026/27 season, extending the long-standing partnership with the Grimsby-based smart home energy technology manufacturer.

Having initially become Official Club Shirt Sponsor in 2022, myenergi have been a major commercial partner of the club during one of the most memorable periods in our 148-year history. Alongside achieving promotion from the National League at the end of the 2021/22 season, the club also reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup in 2023, becoming the first club in history to knock out five teams from a higher division.

But while performances on the pitch have hit the headlines, the partnership has delivered significant community impact off the pitch too. Campaigns such as ‘Green Town’ have helped to position Grimsby as a hub for renewable energy excellence and the two organisations have worked closely together to implement more sustainable practices at Blundell Park and the training ground.

Having proudly featured on the front of the matchday shirt since 2022, myenergi will transition into the role of Official Technical Training Kit Sponsor for 2026/27, with the brand featuring across the club’s training and player match-day warm up kits. The move reflects the next phase of partnership that has always been about more than shirt placement and continues to focus on myenergi’s commitment to the club and the wider Grimsby Community.

Andrew Clint, Group CEO of myenergi, commented: “Over the past four seasons, we’ve been a proud partner to Grimsby Town FC. Alongside sponsoring the club’s shirt, we’ve worked closely together to celebrate the town’s pivotal role in the renewable revolution and accelerated the ambition of making Grimsby ‘Europe’s green town’.

“We’re proud to be continuing that journey as Official Technical Training Kit Sponsor for the 2026/27 season. Our Commitment to the club, the town, and the people within it remains as strong as ever, and we look forward to the next chapter of this partnership.”

Polly Bancroft, CEO of Grimsby Town FC, added: “We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with myenergi into 2026/27. Over the past four years, the relationship has gone far beyond the football pitch, together we’ve made a meaningful difference to people across our community. That shared ambition is what makes this partnership so special, and we’re excited about what lies ahead.”

We’d like to place on record our thanks to myenergi for their tremendous support of the club for the last four seasons and look forward to extending the partnership into 2026/27.
