How do I get to the ground?
Post Code is SK11 7SP
Follow the A6 through Stockport until the road forks. Take the right-hand fork signposted Macclesfield (A523). Follow this road past the town until you reach the end of the dual carriageway. The ground is just over a mile down the road on the right.
Leave the M60 at Stockport and follow as above or leave at J3 Cheadle onto the A34 following signs for Macclesfield and ‘Other Routes’.
Where is the best place to park?
The club does not have a car park but ample street parking is available. Please park respectfully of residents – not parking on yellow lines or blocking ramps/drop kerbs.
Fans can also park on the Lyme Green Retail Park located a few hundred yards from the ground on London Road.
What is the nearest train station to the stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?
Macclesfield’s train station is just over a mile away but services will be limited with it being Boxing Day. Taxi’s should be available outside but again could be limited.
If you fancy the walk – Exit the station and take a left onto Sunderland Street. Continue down here until you reach the traffic lights by Park Green. Take a left onto Mill Lane, which then becomes London Road. The ground will be on the right.
Recommended pubs for away fans?
The Alexander Bar at the ground will, subject to numbers, allow away supporters in who are not displaying club colours.
The Golden Lion on Moss Lane is another good one that has been welcoming of Town fans in the past. The bar is small so waiting times can be slow when busy.
Other bars/pubs are available in the town centre.
Food available in the area?
Food outside of the ground may be limited with it being on Boxing Day. There is a Burger King on London Road just past the ground and a Co-op on the opposite corner to the away end.
When do turnstiles open?
Turnstiles open around 60 minutes before kick-off.
Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?
The Co-op opposite the ground and Bargain Booze on Moss Lane, near the recommended away pub, have free to use cash machines.
What is the process for supporters looking to bring flags into the stadium?
Large flags will not be permitted – fans are asked to follow the instructions of stewards.
Flags on poles are not permitted.
What food and drink is available on the concourse at the stadium?
Both hot and cold food and drink items are available inside the ground, the outlet is small so queues will be likely.
This game will be shown Live in the Uk on iFollow Mariners. Book your pass here.
