Lancashire official Michael Salisbury will take charge of Tuesday’s Checkatrade Trophy tie at Doncaster Rovers (7.30pm).
The referee interestingly follows in the footsteps of his father Graham, who still officiates at this level himself and was in charge of Town’s game v Newport County at Blundell Park last season.
This will be Michael’s third season as a Football League official after being promoted in 2016.
In 11 games this season, Michael has shown 33 Yellow Cards and 1 Red Card.
