LANCASHIRE official Graham Salisbury will officiate the clash with Newport County on Saturday afternoon at Blundell Park.
Mr Salisbury is the most experienced official in the EFL with 16 years of experience under his belt and is no stranger to refereeing the Mariners over the years.
His son Michael is also an official at this level, with the family connection being a unique situation in the refereeing world.
He has already been in charge of a Town fixture once this season, with a brace from Siriki Dembele and a Danny Collins strike helping Russell Slade’s men to a 3-2 victory at Cheltenham Town on that occasion.
The official has handed out 98 yellow cards and five reds in 25 games so far this campaign and will be assisted by Barry Gordon, Paul Graham and fourth official Stephen Wade.
