Surrey referee Craig Hicks will take charge of Town’s trip to Colchester on Saturday afternoon – his second Town game of the season.

Mr Hicks, who was promoted from the National League in the summer, meaning that this season marks his first as an EFL referee, officiated in Town’s draw at Notts County back in December.

When he isn’t out on the pitch, Hicks works at the Surrey FA as their Coach Education Officer, where he deals with all their local coaching enquiries.

So far this season, in 26 games, he has shown 95 Yellow Cards and 3 Red Cards.

He will be assisted by Ian Rathbone and Nicholas Cooper, the Fourth Official will be Marc Wilson.
