Surrey referee Craig Hicks will be the man with the whistle for Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie at Dagenham & Redbridge. 

Mr Hicks was promoted from the National League in 2017, and has taken charge of several Town games before and after his promotion. 

When he isn’t out on the pitch, Hicks works at the Surrey FA as their Coach Education Officer, where he deals with all their local coaching enquiries. 

Mr Hicks began refereeing within Surrey FA in 2001, and has since gone on to officiate at a wide level of football, starting on the grassroots leagues across Surrey, before progressing through numerous leagues up to the National League. 

In 11 games so far this season he has shown 34 Yellow Cards and One Red Card. 

He will be assisted by Michael Webb and Paul Lister, the Fourth Official will be Lee Collins.
