Danny Amos has joined York City on loan until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old defender joined the Mariners midway through 2021/22 from Port Vale and went on to play an important role during the second half of the season, helping the club to a memorable promotion back to the EFL via the play-offs.

Amos was also a regular last season and scored his first goal for the club in the FA Cup fourth round replay victory against Luton Town at Blundell Park.

The defender has made 14 appearances for Town this season with his last coming in the 2-2 draw at Forest Green Rovers back in November.
