Annual Open Day Takes Place This Sunday!

Our annual Community Open Day will take place at Blundell Park from 10am on Sunday 8th August.

From 10am, Blundell Park will be opening its gates for our annual Community Open Day in association with the Mariners Trust and the Grimsby Town Sport & Education Trust (GTSET). In addition, junior members of the Mariners Trust who attend will also be eligible for a FREE t-shirt.

Supporters will have a chance to catch a glimpse of Paul Hurst’s newly assembled 2021/22 squad as they will train on the Blundell Park pitch between 11am and midday. In addition, Revivalry will be performing live music throughout the morning between 10:30am and 12:30pm. Despite the lifting of national restrictions, we continue to have a duty of care towards our players and those in attendance. As a result, we, unfortunately, will not be holding player meet & greet opportunities.

The Mariners Trust facilities situated in the Young’s Lower Stand will be open for hot and cold refreshments throughout the day.

From GTSET’s giant inflatable dartboard and speed trap to community stands from the local blue light services and face painting for our younger attendees, there will be something for all! Admittance to the event is FREE so be sure to bring the entire family and enjoy your day at the home of the Mariners!

As always at our Community Open Day, we encourage all supporters to show their colours and wear their GTFC shirts whilst in attendance. Still not have one of our 2021/22 replica shirts? The GTFC club shop will be open from 10:30am for your convenience. You can also click and collect by placing your order via our online club shop.

With Sunday’s event taking place, the GTFC club shop and ticket office will be closed on Saturday 7th August.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Blundell Park ahead of the start of the 2021/22 season!
