Are you in year 12? Grimsby Town Sports and Education Trust is running its NCS 2019 autumn programme to help you change your future!

We at Grimsby Town Sports and Education Trust offer NCS which will give year 12s a perfect start to their college lives and a great step into the big wide world!

NCS is a personal development programme which was established in 2011, and now has nearly half a million graduates across the country. If you missed out with our Summer 2019 programme then not to worry as you have one last chance to get involved and develop your CV and challenge yourself.

This is a once in a lifetime experience that you will never forget. NCS is the perfect way to learn new skills to prepare you for the coming years ahead as well as ticking them boxes off for social action on your college courses.

Best of all, NCS is a Government-funded programme and our dates for our programme are as follows;

Phase 1: Adventure – 21st,22nd, 23rd,24th October 2019, Newlands Activity Centre, Cumbria

A chance to let off some steam, take a step out of their comfort zone, and get stuck into a variety of awesome activities on a 3 night away residential experience out in the countryside. Transport, meals and accommodation are all provided.

Phase 2: Discovery – 25th October 2019, Blundell Park

This is where you will develop life skills like confidence, leadership and teamwork. They will learn how to discover new skills and enhance their CV.

Phases 3 and 4: Action week commencing 28th October 2019

Working in teams, they’ll put their new skills into practice by planning and delivering a social action project of their choice in the local area. This is their chance to make a lasting difference on something right here in Grimsby. This is a huge part of any college course and we are able to sign off to help you on your course.

Come back together as a team to relive their favourite NCS memories and celebrate all they’ve achieved. They will also pick up their certificate signed by the Prime Minister, and find out about the opportunities available to them as an NCS Graduate.
