The Mariners are on the road this weekend as Town travel to Newport County in Sky Bet League Two action.
If you’re heading to Rodney Parade to back the Mariners, here’s everything you need to know ahead of the trip.
What colour kit are we in?
The Mariners will be wearing our Black and White home kit for Saturday’s fixture.
What’s the ticket information?
Town have received an initial allocation of 406 covered seating tickets in the Bisley Away Stand, and sold 371 so far.
Tickets can also be purchased on the day from the ticket booth next to Gate 6, which will open from 2pm.
Please note that card only payments will be accepted for on-the-day ticket sales.

How do I get to the ground?
The postcode for Rodney Parade is NP19 0BG, which takes you directly to the away turnstile.
Leave the M4 at Junction 24 and take the B4237 towards Newport.
After approximately 2.5 miles, turn left at the set of traffic lights signposted B4237. Go under the bridge and then turn right at the next set of lights into Corporation Road.
Continue past the ATS garage on your right and you’ll see the entrance to the away end on your left.
What stand are we in?
Mariners supporters will be located in the Bisley Stand at the side of the pitch.
This is a covered, seated stand and access is via Gate 6.
When do turnstiles open?
Turnstiles are expected to open approximately 90 minutes before kick-off.
Where is the best place to park?
Rodney Parade does not have a dedicated car park, so supporters are advised to use street parking where available, while taking note of any parking restrictions.
There are also a number of pay-and-display car parks in Newport town centre.
The nearest is Kingsway Centre car park, off the A4042.

What is the nearest train station?
The nearest train station is Newport, which is less than a 10-minute walk from Rodney Parade.
To walk to the stadium:
- Leave the station via Platform 1.
- Cross the road so you are outside Admiral Insurance and turn left.
- Follow the path as it curves left past Delilah’s Café and Bar.
- This will bring you out near Market Arcade and Popadom’s Indian Restaurant.
- At the end of the road, take the staircase on your right and go through the underpass.
- This brings you to Clarence Street Bridge.
- Cross the bridge and take the first right to reach the ground.
Recommended pubs for away fans
There are a number of pubs in and around Newport town centre.
Recommended options include:
- Godfrey Morgan on Chepstow Road – approximately a 10-minute walk from the stadium.
- John Wallace Linton in the city centre.
- Windsor Castle on Upper Dock Street.
What food is available in the area?
Rodney Parade is just across the bridge from Newport town centre, where supporters will find a range of food and drink options.
Friars Walk is home to a number of restaurants, including Zizzi and Bistro Pierre.
Where is the nearest cash machine?
There are a number of cash machines available in Newport town centre, just across the bridge from the stadium.
What food and drink is available inside the stadium?
Both hot and cold food and drink will be available from the food outlet inside the turnstiles area, with options including burgers, hot dogs and pies.
Alcohol will also be available to away supporters from Rodney’s Bar, situated within the Bisley Stand.
Rodney’s Bar opens two hours before kick-off.
Please note that all stadium bars are cashless.
Is a programme available?
A printed copy of The Exile will be available for £3.
Please note that payment is cash only.
Can I bring a flag?
There are generally no issues with supporters bringing flags into the stadium, but they must be displayed safely and must not block walkways.
Stewards will be on hand to assist where required.
