Bantams See Off Young U18s

Town travelled to Bradford on Tuesday, an injury-hit squad paving the way for some of next year’s intake to get a chance.

Town started the game well, Milner flashed wide, as the opening exchanges were relatively even.

However, Bradford took the lead when they steered home a cross from close range.

And soon after they made it two, a scramble in the box was blasted home from close in.

Town dug in and started getting more possession but created very little.

The second half saw Bradford apply more pressure and they added a third from a corner, which was bobbling round in the box only to be smashed home.

Soon after they made it four when a long ball found their striker through on goal before slotting home.

Town got a consolation when the Bradford centre back looped a header over his own keeper to make it 4-1.

Huddersfield Town are next up for Neil Woods’ side.
