Grimsby Town Football Club are delighted to announce Ben Thomas as our new Women’s First Team Head Coach for the upcoming 2025/26 season.

Thomas, who takes over from former Head Coach Ben Challen, previously held the position of Assistant Head Coach, as the team finished third in the East Midlands Regional Women’s Division One North last season.

Previously, Ben held positions at both Lincoln United as well as managing the RAF Women’s Team during his time in the force.

On becoming the Head Coach, Thomas said “I’m really proud to be in the role and represent Grimsby Town Women. It’s an exciting time to be at the Club with the team going in the right direction and I’m aiming to help push the squad to achieve as much as we can. I’m looking forward to getting on the grass and getting to work!”
