Along with Big Red, we are proud to launch the Rising Stars Programme for 2026 – a special community initiative celebrating children across our local schools who demonstrate excellent attendance, positive behaviour and make a meaningful contribution to their school or community.
These young people are true role models, and this programme is all about recognising and rewarding their efforts.
Building on the success of previous years, which saw more than 70 children celebrated at Blundell Park, the 2026 programme is bigger than ever. We are delighted to have already collaborated with 14 local schools, who have carefully selected the pupils receiving this reward in recognition of their fantastic achievements.
This year, we have shared 140 pairs of tickets, giving 140 children the opportunity to be recognised and celebrated at Grimsby Town.
A Special Blundell Park Experience
As part of their reward, each selected child will be gifted tickets to a first team fixture at Blundell Park.
Ahead of matchday, families will also be invited to attend an exclusive VIP Ticket Collection Event at the stadium, where children will:
- Meet first team players
- Take part in a group photo on the pitch
- Meet Mighty Mariner & the Big Red Bear
- Enjoy a celebratory buffet

Delivered in partnership with Big Red and Grimsby Town Foundation, the Big Red Rising Stars Programme continues to grow year on year, and we can’t wait to welcome the 2026 Rising Stars to Blundell Park.
