The Youth Team are back in FA Youth Cup action at Blundell Park on Friday night against Millwall (kick-off, 7pm).
Our young Mariners made it through to the fourth round of the competition thanks to a pulsating extra-time victory against Premier League academy side Nottingham Forest in the previous round. Now Neil Woods’ young guns return to Blundell Park on Friday hoping to progress to the last 16 of the competition for the first time since 2010.
Friday will also be the youth team’s first game since the untimely passing of, Cameron Walsh, who starred in that victory against Forest last month, and his father Dave. As a mark of respect, there will be a minute’s applause in honour of our former youth team player, and his father, shortly before kick-off.
Tickets for the game are available from the Ticket Office at Blundell Park and online by clicking here. The Main Stand will be open for the fixture and the tickets are priced as follows:
£5 – Adults
£3 – 65 years old and over
£1 – Under 18s
Supporters will be able to pay on the turnstile on the evening of the game. Additionally, tickets for the original date of the fixture will be valid.
Mariners TV
We can also confirm that Friday night’s game will be streamed live on Mariners TV.
This will be the second live streamed youth team game this season after the clash with Nottingham Forest was available in the previous round.
Supporters who are unable to make the game can buy a match pass for £5 by clicking here. Please note that due to competition rules, the game will only be available to be streamed to fans in the UK and not international subscribers who usually have access to First Team games.
We hope to see another good crowd inside Blundell Park on Friday night to cheer on Neil Woods’ lads and remember Cameron and his father.
If you can’t make it, you can stream the game from the comfort of your home. Buy your pass by clicking here.
