Young midfielder Aaron Braithwaite has joined Whitby Town on a one-month loan.
The Grimbarian signed his first professional deal in the summer and made his Mariners debut against Derby County in the Papa Johns Trophy in August.
Speaking of his switch to the Northern Premier League Premier Division club, the Town boss said:
“We have decided to let Aaron go out on loan. He suffered an injury recently, but he’s back fit again, and we think for the next part of his development, a loan spell will do him well.
“We’ll be taking a keen interest in how he gets on and hopefully he can go and do well for himself and Whitby.”
The 18-year-old will now join Jamie Bramwell at the Turnbull Ground.
Good luck, Az!
