Grimsby Town Football Club are calling on all Mariners fans to “Bring Your Harry” and help recreate the legendary spirit of 18th February 1989, as the team faces AFC Wimbledon in the final match of the regular season at Blundell Park.
In a nod to the unforgettable scenes from the Fifth Round FA Cup clash 36 years ago, the club is inviting supporters to bring along inflatable Harry Haddocks and fill the stands with passion, pride, and a bit of nostalgic magic.
That iconic day in 1989 saw a tidal wave of inflatable Harry Haddocks and unshakable belief sweep through the stands as Town went toe-to-toe with the then FA Cup holders. Now, we’re looking to channel that same energy once more – this time, with a play-off place on the line.
To help fans get involved, inflatable Harry Haddocks are on offer in the club shop for just £6.99 for Friday 2nd May and Saturday 3rd May – the perfect way to join the sea of silver and support the boys in black and white.
