McJanet joined the Mariners in the June 2024 on a 2-year deal from Derry City in Ireland.

The left-sided defender began his career in the youth set up at Luton Town at u9s level, before moving to Stoke City’s Academy, where he went out on loan to Curzon Ashton in the National League North.

McJanet moved over to Ireland for four years, where he made over 140 appearances for Derry City in the League of Ireland Premier Division.
