We are pleased to announce that Saturday’s home fixture vs. Carlisle United will be dedicated to ladies in football and our exiled supporters.
Ladies Day
In conjunction with The Equality Practice and as part of our Sport & Education Trust Common Ground inclusion work and following International Women’s Day last weekend, our designated ‘Ladies Day’ is about the celebration of the presence and contribution of women at Blundell Park over the years.
On the day, we welcome the All For One choir, featuring up to 200 women from across the Humber area, who will be singing pre-match and at half-time. Our successful GTFC Ladies Team will also be present for photographs and autographs, ahead of their County Cup final vs. Lincoln City Ladies.
Our female supporters will be able to take advantage of discounted tickets in the build-up to Saturday’s fixture, with adults being able to purchase tickets for £14 and concessions (15-18 or 65+) able to purchase tickets for £8.
Exile Supporters Day
In addition to Ladies Day, we are also celebrating and welcoming those exiled supporters (living 50+ miles away from Blundell Park) who are attending the fixture. We appreciate the dedication shown by those who live away from the area in supporting the Mariners and they will also be able to take advantage of discounted tickets (£14 for adults & £8 for concessions).
In addition to this special offer, exile supporters can make a weekend of it by attending a meet & greet evening with manager, Ian Holloway in the Mariners Trust bar on Friday 13th March, with doors opening at 7 pm. Tickets for our fixture vs. Carlisle United can be purchased directly from the Blundell Park ticket office, calling 01472 605050 or by visiting our online ticket store. For the avoidance of doubt, an ‘exile’ is somebody who lives further than 50 miles or more away from Blundell Park. Proof of address will be required on collection. Our female supporters who have already purchased tickets for the fixture can return their tickets for a partial refund and reissue of tickets.
