We can confirm that Matty Carson has had his contract with the Club terminated by mutual consent.

The 22-year-old joined the Mariners in the summer of 2024 after departing Reading.

During his spell with the Club, he went on loan to both Radcliffe FC and Alfreton Town.

In total, Carson went on to make 13 appearances in the black and white stripes.

Matty leaves with the best wishes of everyone at Grimsby Town and we wish him well for the future.
