We are looking forward to welcoming back Gary Childs as our matchday guest in McMenemy’s against MK Dons this weekend.

The former winger featured 272 times for the Mariners, scoring 28 goals, during an 8-year spell at Blundell Park.

His skill and trickery were a big factor in Town achieving back-to-back promotions in 89-90 and 90-91 and his on-pitch relationships with players such as John McDermott, Tony Rees and Neil Woods made the Mariners one of the most exciting teams in the lower divisions.

Childsy will be in McMenemy’s ahead of Saturday’s game where he will take part in a Q&A about his time as a Mariner with our matchday host.

Supporters with a hospitality package for the fixture will also have a chance to meet, chat and have photos taken with the former Town winger.
