Grimsby Town staff are supporting the Prostate United campaign and fundraising for Prostate Cancer UK throughout October.
Assistant Manager Chris Doig, along with other members of the coaching staff, will aim to cover either 5km running or 10km cycling every day in October, with the hope of raising both funds and awareness of prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men with more than 52,000 diagnosed every year, an average of 144 men every day. Every 45 minutes one man dies from prostate cancer – that’s more than 12,000 men every year. One in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
We will be providing supporters updates on the progress of the coaching staff on our social media channels throughout the month.

Good luck Doigy and the team!
