As you are aware, John Fenty has made an offer to Messrs Shutes, Stockwood and Pettit to sell to them his shares in Grimsby Town Football Club.

That offer was time conditional. The consortium has not accepted the offer and consequently, I am informed, that there will not be a sale of his shares to the consortium.

With the transfer window opening in seven days, it is therefore imperative that the Board proceed with the appointment of a new manager which it will now do.
