Grimsby Town Football Club is delighted to announce a competition for our junior supporters to design our 3rd kit for next season.

The Board of Directors has made the decision to encourage our junior fans to produce some artwork for an all-new 3rd strip for season 2022-23.

To be able to enter, youngsters aged 15 and under will need to purchase a Mariners Trust sticker book or become a Junior Trust member.  All entries will then need to be e-mailed back to the Trust at competition@marinerstrust.co.uk by 7th January 2022 with contact details i.e., name, address, e-mail or mobile number.

All entries will then be judged by the GTFC Board and a winning design will be announced at the end of January.  The winner will receive the prize of the first 3rd kit when the strip is launched in the summer of 2022.

On top of this, the GTFC Board has chosen to give all the profits of sales of the 3rd strip in season 2022-23 to the Shalom Youth Centre in Grimsby.  The Centre has been helping the young people of Grimsby since it opened in 1972, providing them with a safe and friendly environment.

John Ellis, Project Manager at the Shalom Youth Centre Grimsby, commented, “We are so grateful for the support of Grimsby Town in giving Shalom the profits from the new third strip.  We celebrate our 50th birthday next year so this makes a great ‘Birthday present’ which will enable us to continue our work with young people at risk in our community. We have just signed up member 5000!  Thanks again Town!”
