Grimsby Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Huddersfield Town right back Neo Eccleston on loan until the end of the season.
Eccleston began his youth development at Chelsea’s renowned academy before moving to Huddersfield Town as a 16-year-old in 2020.
The versatile defender, who is noted for his physicality, speed and outstanding leap, spent the first half of last season on loan at Barrow and made 24 appearances for the Bluebirds, scoring once in their 1-0 win at Harrogate Town a year ago.
Eccleston also made his Huddersfield Town bow in March and has since gone on to make three first team appearances for his parent club.
After securing the signature of the League One defender, David Artell said “Neo is a prestigious talent who we’ve had our eyes on for a while. He’s unbelievably athletic and had a successful loan spell last season at Barrow. We are delighted he’s chosen to join us for the upcoming season!”
Welcome to Grimsby, Neo!
