Edwin Essel’s loan with Grimsby Borough has been extended by another month.

The teenage striker first joined the Wilderness Boys in October and has appeared five times, scoring once in their 4-1 victory against Long Eaton United in the Northern Premier League Division One East.

Former Tollbar Academy pupil Essel, who made two appearances for the Mariners last season, will be available for their trip to Shildon tomorrow.
