Neo Eccleston joined the Mariners on deadline day on loan from Huddersfield Town, signing until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old right back began his youth career at Chelsea before moving to Huddersfield as a 16-year-old in 2020.

A powerful and athletic defender, Eccleston spent the first half of the 2023/24 season on loan at Barrow, making 24 appearances and scoring once in a 1-0 victory at Harrogate Town.

He went on to make his Huddersfield Town debut in March 2024 and has since featured three times for the Terriers’ First Team.
